Thinning technique

After you've transplanted your seedlings to the growing shelf. Each pod should be thinned to 1 - 2 seedlings. To do this pull out the excess seedlings using a pair of tweezers or your fingers gently.

Harvesting technique

Harvest leaf by leaf. Use the larger leaves first, by trimming at the very base of the stem. These plants do not produce uniform leaves, and you may cut the largest leaves from any point on the main stalk. Never cut the main stalk!
