Medium-dark green leaves with a very defined, three-dimensional shape. Sweet, almost romaine-like flavor, with a crisp, almost iceberg-like, texture. Large, heavy heads are slow to bolt. This variety offers impressive yield potential due to its volume, vigor, and heavy leaf texture.

Thinning technique

After you've transplanted your seedlings to the growing shelf. Each pod should be thinned to 1 seedling. To do this pull out the excess seedlings using a pair of tweezers or your fingers gently.

Harvesting technique

As a leaf lettuce, this plant can be harvested either as a full head or leaf by leaf. Harvest the entire head at the base, or cut the largest outer leaves at the base of their stem.
