Striking the right balance of colors and textures, this mix can be marketed on its own or added to baby leaf lettuce. Strong regrowth allows for cut-and-come-again harvesting. Selected for baby-leaf production.

Thinning technique

After you've transplanted your seedlings to the growing shelf. Each pod should be thinned to 1 - 2 seedlings. To do this pull out the excess seedlings using a pair of tweezers or your fingers gently.

Harvesting technique

Crop the larger leaves first by trimming at the base of each stem. You may cut the larger leaves from any point on the main stalk, and leave small, inner leaves for regrowth. Never cut the main stalk!
